Sarasota has a healthy bicycle population


the riders who have endured the years of no action to support cycling has been delt another setback. That setback is in the guise of a purchase of a section of a railroad line to create a multipurpose trail. Walking, running, skating and cycling.
The diversion is away from the need to stripe and provide access to continous connecting roads for bicyclists. The new off road trail isn't going to allow bicyclists to commute to work or play.
